PRG

A dear friend called me yesterday asking for some Light Language help with anxiety. Seems there are a few issues in our world making life just a bit more anxious, or maybe a lot more anxious. Either way, we spent some time discussing how she’s rather ‘feel’ besides ‘anxious’.

We came up with the word CALM.

I asked her to close her eyes, place her hands on her heart and think, repeat, the word CALM for a few minutes.

When she was done, I asked what she noticed. A little relief, but the ‘anxiety’ thoughts were still trying to take over.

Then the idea arrived– PRG

P=personal

R=rescue

G=grid

So, we created a personal rescue grid titled CALM.

Repeating the process, closing eyes, hands on heart, focusing upon the 7 shape Personal Rescue Grid for a few minutes.

The results were wonderful! CALM had taken over her thought process, her heart rate slowed, she felt more relaxed and ‘anxiety’ was nowhere to be found. I recommended that she print 5 of these PRG and put them in various places around her home, a reminder to focus upon CALM during her day. She also decided to put this grid on her phone.
